Project Description

This PhD project focuses on developing financial and economic modelling frameworks to evaluate emerging low-carbon energy systems in industrial applications. The research will combine system performance insights with techno-economic and cash flow analysis to assess: Capital investment requirements Operating costs Long-term economic viability Risk and uncertainty under different scenarios The project will also examine how market changes and policy conditions affect: System performance Investment outcomes Strategic planning for sustainable infrastructure This research supports better decision-making for future low-carbon industrial development.

Entry Requirements

First Class Honours (H1) or equivalent
Must meet English language requirements

Relevant background in:

Chemical Engineering
Economics
Data Science
Energy systems
Finance or related fields
