Fully Funded PhDs in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical AI at Lancaster University

The MARS PhD programme at Lancaster University offers fully funded doctoral training in applied mathematics and mathematical AI, starting October 2026. Applicants must have or expect to obtain a first class honours undergraduate degree or 2:1 undergraduate degree with a merit at master’s level in a subject with substantial mathematical content (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or engineering). Available to UK fees status students only.
