Fully funded PhD at Coventry University exploring co-created evaluation approaches in Health Tech to better capture outcomes that matter to people living with long-term conditions.

Project Description

This PhD project investigates how Health Tech evaluation methods can better reflect the priorities of people living with long-term health conditions. Existing evaluation approaches may fail to capture meaningful patient outcomes and can discourage participation. The research will compare commonly used HealthTech evaluation methods, assessing their validity, usability, and acceptability to participants. It will also use co-creation approaches to identify what matters most to patients, families, and communities, integrating these insights into improved evaluation frameworks. The project is co-funded by the NIHR Devices for Dignity Health Tech Research Centre, supporting innovation in technologies for long-term conditions.
