Project Description

The PhD focuses on public understanding of organic agriculture, especially contentious issues such as inputs like copper, peat, or other critical products. The project adopts a mixed-methods approach, including: Literature reviews Qualitative interviews Focus groups and workshops Survey design and analysis The student will contribute to science-society dialogues and help inform improvements in organic agriculture standards. The project is part of the EU-funded Scale-it project aiming to scale up alternatives to contentious inputs in organic farming.

Entry Requirements

Social science degree (preferably Geography, Sociology, or STS)
Experience in qualitative research (focus groups, interviews)
Experience or willingness to learn survey design and analysis
Interest in agroecology and organic agriculture
